The Signa platform uses cookies and similar local storage technologies to provide core functionality, maintain your session, and (with your consent) analyze how the platform is used so we can improve it.

2.1 Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They include:

  • Session authentication tokens (keeping you logged in)
  • Security tokens (CSRF protection)
  • User preference storage (theme, collapsed panels)
  • API session management

Legal basis: Contractual necessity. No consent required under GDPR or CCPA.

2.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional)

These cookies help us understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it. They collect anonymous usage statistics and do not identify you personally. They include:

  • Page view and feature interaction tracking
  • Session duration and engagement metrics
  • Error and performance monitoring

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party behavioral tracking cookies. We do not participate in advertising networks. We do not share cookie data with third parties for advertising purposes. The Signa platform is ad-free and tracking-free by design.

4. Cookie List

The following specific cookies are used by the Service:

  • sb-[project]-auth-token — Supabase authentication session. Duration: Session (browser close). Type: Essential. Purpose: Keeps you logged in.
  • signa_theme — User interface preference (light/dark mode). Duration: 1 year. Type: Essential. Purpose: Remembers your display preference.
  • signa_nav_collapsed — Navigation state preference. Duration: 30 days. Type: Essential. Purpose: Remembers sidebar collapse state.
  • signa_cookie_consent — Records your cookie preference choice. Duration: 1 year. Type: Essential. Purpose: Prevents the cookie banner from showing on every visit.
  • _analytics_session — Anonymous usage analytics. Duration: 30 days. Type: Analytics (optional). Purpose: Helps us understand how the platform is used.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to our cookie practices. Updates will be communicated via the cookie banner or a notice on the platform. The date above reflects the most recent revision.
